Horse Bonding with Coco

Service Description

This session is designed for anyone who wants to connect with horses in a mindful, heart-centered way, whether you’re brand new to horses, returning after years away, or simply looking for a calming, soulful experience. You’ll spend time with Coco, our gentle, intelligent, and delightfully sassy Dutch Harness Horse. We’ll move at your comfort level — learning how to approach, brush, and communicate with her through body language and energy. You’ll discover how horses mirror our emotions and how being with them helps us slow down, ground, and reconnect with ourselves. The experience can be fun and adventurous or deeply emotional and restorative — each session unfolds differently, and that’s part of its magic. Some guests find themselves laughing and exploring; others leave feeling peaceful and moved. We will start by meeting the horses in their fields with treats, and just play with them a bit in their natural environment. You will have the opportunity to walk Coco into the barn and groom her (we can bring along more horses for a larger group). I will show you different interesting body parts, talk to you about the horse-human bond, and we can do some grounding meditations so you feel centered. Then we will walk her out to the forest and creek for some fun bonding and photo op time and let her graze. You'll learn to manage her and basic horsemanship skills. And then you will bring her back out to her field and hug her goodbye. No matter how you come into this session, Coco's lovely, sensible nature will have you relaxed and satisfied by the end.
