Who This

Retreat Is For

This retreat is designed for folks who just need a quiet little break from the day-to-day hustle to connect with the Self and spend a meaningful day immersed in nature, movement, reflection, and community.

Whether you come seeking rest, creativity, grounding, inspiration, healing, or simply a beautiful summer day surrounded by kind people and open countryside, you are welcome here.

No yoga or retreat experience is necessary.

Some guests attend with family or friends; many come solo.

The retreat moves gently between grounding practices, seasonal meals, quiet reflection, movement, restorative wellness, and time outdoors throughout the farm and surrounding landscape.

The Rhythm of the Day

Morning Opening
With breakfast & lunch

Start your day in community with a light, healthy breakfast and then ease into The Blue Hydrangea signature Harnessing the Fire Horse practice. We encourage silence for breakfast to allow yourself to come into the space with ease. The morning offers abundant time for relaxing around the farm or participating in coaching and spa wellness services.

Harnessing the Fire Horse
10:15 AM

After the stillness of winter and the soft awakening of early spring, the mid-way point in the year invites us to fully embrace the bold and tranformative energy of the Fire Horse with confidence, vitality, and intention. Lenoure begins this session with a grounding short chi flow, using movement to open the body and clear stagnant energy. From there, we transition into a calming chakra-balancing practice that flows into a focused manifestation meditation, guiding you to reconnect with your dreams and consciously envision the fullest expression of your life in the months ahead. We close with a loving-kindness meditation, anchoring strength with compassion.  Guests are then invited to continue with Lenoure for a beautiful, deeply restorative yin yoga flow, or to schedule services, such as restorative facials, ionic foot soaks, stone reiki, and tranformative coaching services during this free time.

Afternoon & Evening
Includes Dinner

The Summer Solstice afternoon and evening retreat experience offers more gently activated movement, meditation, storytelling, nourishment, and restorative offerings as the farm settles gently into the longest days of summer. The afternoon sessions include dinner and plenty of time for your additional wellness sessions, such as facials, ionic foot soaks, and reiki with stones, unconscious pattern realignment and rewiring, and transformative coaching, or to simply find a comfortable spot to relax on the farm.

Somatic Restoration
3:30 PM

Gisele Valentina’s Somatic Movement & Restoration blends rhythmic flow,  breathwork, affirmations, and somatic activation, helping guests move past feeling stuck, heavy, or shut down. You will release grief or stress stored in the body; reclaim confidence, joy, and creativity; regulate your nervous-system; and build resilience. Giselle's “bottom-up” approach starts with sensation and movement so emotion can release without re-telling the story. You will leave with a sense of relief that comes when your body finally gets to discharge what it’s been carrying.

Wild Woman Themes
5:30 PM

As the evening settles, Zarife Quinn will guide a reflective storytelling and discussion experience inspired by themes from Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés’ Women Who Run With the Wolves, exploring instinct, creativity, belonging, intuition, and the reclaiming of the untamed self. Through stories such as The Ugly Duckling and La Loba, guests will be invited into a deeper exploration of the parts of themselves that may have become  silenced, over-adapted, or disconnected beneath the demands of society and everyday life. Together, the group will reflect on themes of identity, longing, resilience, wildness, exile, voice, and returning home to one’s own nature. With her warm touch, Zarife will weave guests together through story, reflection, shared insight, imagination, and meaningful conversation.

Retreat Guides

Our practitioners have put together a day of restorative experiences centered around movement, reflection, creativity, nervous system support, and even spa services like facials and foot soaks for luxurious seasonal renewal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need yoga or retreat experience?

Can I come alone?

Absolutely. Many guests attend solo, and the atmosphere is intentionally warm, relaxed, and community-oriented.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing you can move and relax in is best. Layers are encouraged, as portions of the day may take place outdoors and temperatures can shift throughout the evening. Feel free to bring a change of clothes for evening story telling and dinner.

Is the retreat indoors or outdoors?

The retreat includes both indoor and outdoor experiences throughout the farm, depending on the session, weather, and flow of the day.

What happens if it rains?
